Sudan and Qatar to Hold Ministerial Meetings

Khartoum — Qatar’s capital Doha is braced to host Sudanese-Qatari ministerial meetings this October.

The Undersecretary of Foreign Abdel-Ghani Al-Naiem announced that Sudanese-Qatari ministerial meetings will be convened this October in capital Doha within the framework of furthering bilateral relations between the two countries.
The undersecretary made the announcement following his meeting with Qatari Ambassador in Khartoum last Thursday during which the two sides debated ways of enhancing bilateral relations.
H.E Fateh Rahman Ali, Qatar’s Ambassador to Sudan noted that ties between Sudan and his country have been increasing objectively and the two countries are seeing best relations ever in recent memory, taking into account a leading role Qatar is playing to achieve peace in Darfur.
The Doha ministerial meeting is expected to look at different issues related to boosting Sudanese-Qatari relations, investment projects in addition to mutual agreement between the two countries.
